International Interest
Douala, Cameroon - November 2004
November 2004 proved to hold a divine appointment for Pastor Drew Whitmore and his team, as they
traveled to Douala, Cameroon, West Africa with host Dr. Joseph James and the Dominion Faith International
Church. The conference was themed "I Refuse To Die," and each service was supercharged with
the power of the Holy Ghost. Services were moved from the church sanctuary to the courtyard outside due
to the capacity crowd. Our African brothers and sisters were all overjoyed to receive our ministry and
impacted our hearts in a dynamic way.
In addition to our leadership and revival services held at Dominion Faith International Church, we were
awarded the privilege to visit the Sio Sio village. Our journey there was three hours on a stick boat. Upon
reaching the village boats full of the natives rowed out to meet us with smiling faces and warm hearts. We
preached in a recently constructed church founded by Dr. James and encouraged the people of Sio Sio that
we would return again in the near future to help further the vision that Dominion Faith International Church
has for them.
Over all, our visit to Douala proved to be one of the most dynamic international exploits to date. I
cannot say enough how blessed we were to have been awarded the extreme honor that was bestowed upon
us by Dr. James and his entire team. We thank them from the bottom of our hearts and cannot wait to visit
Douala again in the near future.
